Embroidery: the premium choice for corporate apparel
An embroidered logo radiates craftsmanship and lasts literally for years. For polos, workwear, jackets and caps, embroidery is often the best choice.
What is embroidery?
With embroidery, we stitch your design directly into the fabric using fine threads. The result isn’t a surface print but part of the textile itself — hence the exceptional durability and premium look.
For embroidery we first create a digital embroidery card where every stitch is programmed. We translate this into the actual work. By default we embroider up to 6 thread colours per design; up to 15 colours is available on request.
When is embroidery the right choice?
Embroidery is the right choice when:
- You want a professional, premium look
- The clothing will be worn daily for years (workwear, polos)
- You want a logo or text — not a photorealistic design
- You want to embellish thicker fabrics like fleece, softshell or jackets
- You need smaller runs (from 1 piece) of staff clothing
For large solid areas, fine detail or photos, embroidery is less suitable — choose screen printing or transfers instead.
What we embroider
Logos on chest & sleeve
Classic placement for polos, T-shirts and jackets. Standard size 8–10 cm wide on the chest, smaller on the sleeve.
Logos on back
Larger embroidery on workwear, softshells and jackets. Up to about A4 size — beyond that we recommend other techniques.
Caps and beanies
Embroidery is the technique for caps. Front, side or back — all positions possible.
Bags & accessories
Sports bags, aprons, work bags. Embroidered logos give a high-end effect that print can’t match.
What you need to order
The design:
Supply your logo as vector (.AI.EPS.PDF.SVG). We create a digital embroidery card from it. One-time digitisation cost — afterwards you can use the same file for future orders.
The textile:
Embroidery requires a fabric that holds stitches well. Heavyweight polos, fleece, softshell and jackets work best. On thin T-shirts (<150 g/m²) we recommend screen printing or transfers.
Quantities:
From 1 piece. For embroidery it makes little difference whether you order 1 or 100 — most of the cost is in the one-time digitisation.
Pros and cons at a glance
Pros
- Premium, professional look

- No minimum order
- Works well on thicker fabrics where print is tricky
- Industrial wash safe (60°C+)
Considerations
- Not suitable for fine detail or photography
- Limited number of colours per design (in practice 5–10)
- One-time digitisation cost for the embroidery card
- Higher unit price than screen printing at larger quantities
Frequently asked questions
A well-made embroidery typically outlasts the garment itself. Industrial washing, daily wear — no problem.
Up to about 10 colours per design works fine. Beyond that it’s still doable but less cost-effective — we’ll often suggest a simplified version or a different technique.
Yes, it’s a popular combination. A unique name per person under the same logo — for team apparel or staff uniforms.
Between €25 and €60 for a standard chest logo, depending on complexity. This is a one-time cost — for repeat orders we reuse the same file.
Excellently — in fact, those are favoured materials. The extra thickness gives a beautifully full effect.
Yes, loose or attached to clothing. Patches are handy when you want the same logo on different garments without embroidering each one separately.
