Concrete sustainability, no vague claims
We don’t do vague “green” promises. We do concrete actions we can substantiate — with numbers and certifications where needed. Below we explain what this means in practice for our work.
Our own facility
We are greening our operations
We have We are installing solar panels on our building roof so the workshop increasingly runs on self-generated electricity.
No overstock production
We print to order, not to stock. Our “small-run stock-holding” tactic for private label means no leftover stock that needs to be discounted — a major difference from traditional textile production where 30-40% waste is normal.
Sustainable inks
Water-based and PVC-free inks
As an alternative to traditional plastisol we offer water-based inks. Benefits: – No phthalates, no plasticisers – Water-based instead of oil-based – Softer feel in the textile – Less waste in screen cleaning
REACH-compliant
All inks and transfers we use comply with European REACH legislation. That means: no harmful substances on the European restriction list.
EN 71-3 for children's clothing
Specific water-based inks are EN 71-3 compliant — tested for heavy metals on textile used by children.
No solvent printers in textile workshop
Our textile print workshop runs plastisol + water-based + DTF. Eco-solvent printing for signage happens elsewhere, separate from textile printing. Cleaner work environment for the team.
Sustainable textile
We prefer working with brands taking serious sustainability steps themselves:
Stanley/Stella
Premium organic cotton, GOTS-certified, Fair Wear Foundation member. Our first choice for clients who genuinely want to claim sustainability at product label level.
— Earthpositive line
90% lower CO₂ footprint than a conventional T-shirt. Climate-positive certified, organic cotton, social criteria.
Mantis
UK brand with strong focus on sustainability in production and supply chain.
B&C Pro
Workwear line with OEKO-TEX certification. For clients who want workwear and sustainability combined.
CO₂ reporting per project
For corporate clients who need ESG reporting we can deliver per-project CO₂ footprint reporting with:
- Textile CO₂ — based on product-specific data from suppliers
- Production CO₂ — our own facility (solar panels on the roof)
- Transport CO₂ — from our facility to destination
- Packaging CO₂ — recyclable cardboard where possible
This report is not an ISO-certified audit, but a concrete estimate you can use for your own ESG reporting. On request we deliver the calculation methodology.
Honest about what we don't do
To stay credible, we’re honest about the limits too:
❌ We’re not 100% climate neutral in all scopes. Scope 3 (supply chain) we don’t have fully mapped — we lean on the certifications of our textile suppliers there.
❌ We don’t buy CO₂ offsets to claim “climate neutral”. We prefer direct reduction over shadow claims via certificates.
❌ Not every project is equally sustainable. A rush order with express delivery isn’t as eco as a planned order with ground transport. We’re honest about those trade-offs.
❌ Our sublimation printers aren’t yet water-based. Sublimation inks are naturally solvent-free, but printer cleaning procedures use slightly more chemicals than screen printing.
